I have a considerable amount of weight to lose (85-90 lbs.) over the next six months. I am looking at a goal of about 10-15 pounds per month to start, which is about 3-5 pounds a week.

I gain and maintain lean muscle pretty easily as far as I can tell (i can feel hard muscle underneath the fat when i push on it) and i’m not afraid to alter my eating habits to assist the weight loss process. But I need to formulate some kind of plan and stick to it.

I have already prepared to begin the process by doing a detox cleanse followed by raw fruits and vegetables, which I’ve done before successfully. i’ll do that for 10-21 days. but after that i need to know how to incorporate fish, bread, nuts, pasta (if i can have it) and what exercise i should be doing to help for 30-45 min. maybe 3-4 times a week… (mind you i get bored with monotonous routine)

Is this unrealistic? How do I lose without that disgusting baggy skin thing happening like i see when people lose alot of weight quickly over 6-12 months.

My main goal is to be fit and healthy inside and out by the year’s end, but by fall would be even better… You should also know that i don’t have a lot of money but i wanna start somewhere…

I am working on losing my first 10 pounds of a total 50 pounds I want to lose. I am a busy, newly single mother of three young children who works full time. I have been dieting for about 3 weeks and have lost about 7 pounds so far. I read that not eating enough calories could hurt your weight loss goals. So far my caloric intake has been low and I have been losing the weight. I am concerned that I am not eating enough. I am not going hungry. I have a bowl of Cheerios with fat free milk for breakfast, an apple for a snack, a Lean Cuisine (about 150-300 calories) for lunch, a handful of almonds for snack or carrots, and a light dinner, and a fruit pop for an evening snack. Question about toning/ nutrition / bodybuilding?

Well after a couple years of unhealthy weight loss, i decided i want to decrease my body fat percentage, and tone up. I figure the best way to do this is to get some protein powder, bars, and other things, and hit the weights, as well as do some HIIT. I didnt think that focusing on cardio would help tone me up, nor would it allow me to eat as much i would like to. So my question is how should i get started? what should my workout schedule be, how many cups of protein should i have, and what are the effects of protein, i dont want to gain too much weight, but if it means ill be more tone then i want to. I figure four days of lifting and 3 days of HIIT, 1-2 rest days a week. how long should i work out, and what types of HIIT should i do. Also i want to know what supplements i can take that dont make me gain weight, but help tone. ( ex : creatine is not for me ) Any help would be great, or advice tips, workouts, information is much apprecaited, thanks in advance.

Right nutrition for weightloss?

I know the basics of weightloss, you eat less than you burn and you lose weight. but for the past week i have been eating 1200 calories a day avg and burned around 500 a day, but the scale havent budged. however i realized that mostly i eat light cheese with bread, and not really balanced meals. could that be whats affecting my weight loss? should i not eat so much cheese/fat and more carbs? do the sources of calories really affect weightloss that much?
