I have a considerable amount of weight to lose (85-90 lbs.) over the next six months. I am looking at a goal of about 10-15 pounds per month to start, which is about 3-5 pounds a week.

I gain and maintain lean muscle pretty easily as far as I can tell (i can feel hard muscle underneath the fat when i push on it) and i’m not afraid to alter my eating habits to assist the weight loss process. But I need to formulate some kind of plan and stick to it.

I have already prepared to begin the process by doing a detox cleanse followed by raw fruits and vegetables, which I’ve done before successfully. i’ll do that for 10-21 days. but after that i need to know how to incorporate fish, bread, nuts, pasta (if i can have it) and what exercise i should be doing to help for 30-45 min. maybe 3-4 times a week… (mind you i get bored with monotonous routine)

Is this unrealistic? How do I lose without that disgusting baggy skin thing happening like i see when people lose alot of weight quickly over 6-12 months.

My main goal is to be fit and healthy inside and out by the year’s end, but by fall would be even better… You should also know that i don’t have a lot of money but i wanna start somewhere…

I’m a runner and I work out 3-4 times a week as well. I need to lose maybe four pounds of fat to decrease my times (and to look a little better for the summer =) ). I’ve tried diets, but they always seem to sacrifice my energy levels. I’ve also just tried to exercise more while eating as much healthy food as I want, but I just maintain my weight.

I want to lose weight, and not just weight really I want to become healthier and more in shape. My whole family has a large frame and when you see me, you would never think I was fat, but I’ve been an athlete my whole life and recently I’ve slowed down and become less active. I have some pretty big love handles. The problem is all the fat goes to that spot. It’s weird becasue I can see my rib cage, and it makes me look skinny up top, but then i see my love handles and I look like crap. What are some things I can do to reduce the size of my love handles?
