I eat healthy, but don’t think I’m getting enough calories.?
For awhile now, i’ve been eating really well. For breakfast, I have a Banana smoothie (Banana, ice, plain low fat organic yoghurt, fresh squeezed orange juice and a teaspoon of honey/maple syrup), for lunch I have a salad, and then for dinner I have either another salad, or, a veggie quesadilla. (Or, sometimes, if my husband wants, he’ll make a steak for us and a side of salad.) I usually space these meals out so I’m eating around 6 times a day. If I want a snack, I have a fiberone bar and fruit, but I rarely snack.
The things is, I keep getting a feeling I’m not getting enough calories… (And most of what I eat are fruit and veggies, and they don’t come with nutrition facts
~~~)
For fat loss, I apparently need 2144 calories a day, and for extreme fast loss, I’d need 1832 . :S
Doesn’t look like it…fruits and veggies don’t add up to much even if they are your only meals.
I’d throw in some meat or more dairy for the added protein and calories.
It’s not that difficult to look up the nutritional information for fruit and vegetables
